Hanna Rochereau (1995, Paris) completed the Visual Arts – European Art Ensemble Master's program at ECAL in Lausanne. Since her arrival in Marseille, she was a resident at the Ateliers de la Ville de Marseille, supported by Triangle Astérides. From 2022 to 2023, she co-founded the artist-run space Hasch. Her work revolves around the history of the reappropriation of desire. Through paintings of ghostly and timeless displays and sculptures, she seeks to question our daily aspirations, our need for ordinary idolatry, and its essential material consumption. Among other exhibitions, she has been invited to exhibit at Tonus (Paris),  La Friche Belle de Mai (Triangle Astérides, Marseille), Collection Lambert (Avignon), Laurence and Friends (Geneva), La Traverse (Marseille), Le Printemps de l'Art Contemporain (Marseille), Palazzina (Basel), The Community (Paris), Lokal-int (Biel), 13 Vitrine (Lausanne), Sentiment (Paris – Zurich), SET (London), Galerie Grèvecoeur (Paris), and Alienze (Lausanne). Hanna is currently preparing two upcoming solo exhibitions at La Fonda (Biarritz) and Shmorévaz (Paris) and will be a resident at La Becque (Switzerland) in September.   ︎hanna.rochereau@gmail.com   ︎hanna.rochereau
